iTouchMap.com is designed for use with PCs, Macs, the Apple iPhone and iPod touch. However it can be viewed with virtually any Internet browser that supports Java Script. A limited version using Google static maps is available for mobile browsers that do not support Java Script.

Information displayed on this website is based on content provided by Google, the U.S. Geological Survey and National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency.The My Static Maps application is based in large part on Ben Lisbakken's non Java Script Local Search example at Google-ajax-examples. The Find Lot Size application is based in large part on Jef Poskanzer's Planimeter at Acme Laboratories. The Recent Earthquakes application is based in large part on Scott Haefner's (USGS) Earthquake add-in module for Google maps. The Mars feature list and map projections are based on a similar implementation at out partner site MarsMap.net
